Leader of the Green party and MLA for Fredericton South David Coon tables a motion to initiate a public inquiry into the adequacy of ambulance services and how they can be improved.

“We are hearing more and more stories of families’ experiences with dangerously long wait times for ambulances in rural New Brunswick, but we haven’t looked specifically at the root causes or at how to best mitigate them,” said Coon. “We need a comprehensive review that will give us the information we need to fix a system that is clearly not working for New Brunswick.”

“That is why my caucus and I will prepare a motion to initiate a public inquiry when the Legislature resumes this fall,” said Coon.
