Fredericton South MLA building on success of outreach project
Fredericton – David Coon, MLA for Fredericton South is releasing updated versions of his community resource infographics highlighting food and housing supports available in Fredericton.
“It’s important that when people are in crisis, they know where to turn for help with housing, food and employment,” said Coon. “These resource materials have proven to be popular with some of the most vulnerable among us.”
The most common concerns brought to Coon’s constituency office relate to housing and food insecurity.
“We are constantly having constituents come in who are in crisis, needing housing or food for their families and we know that we are not seeing all the people in need,” said Taeyon Kim, constituency office coordinator for David Coon. “So we decided to initiate this outreach project to ensure we could connect as many people in need as we can with the community supports available to them.
